Most walk into the James J. Eldred House to see it’s beauty, however some come to see the secrets that lie within the home. Stories that have been circulating throughout Greene County for years are now catching the attention of Paranormal Investigators far and wide. Some say these stories have been around for a century now, some say there is nothing to them.
The IVCHA is giving Paranormal Investigators the chance to investigate this wonderful home to witness what so many others have. A few things that you may experience when you and your team conduct your investigation are as followed.
Ÿ Phantom footsteps Ÿ Phantom knocking at the front door Ÿ Conversations between a man and a woman in the kitchen Ÿ Giggles of a young lady Ÿ Equipment getting turned off on it’s own (one spirit loves to play with DVR’s and DVD burners) Ÿ Small shadows moving in the nursery Ÿ Apparitions throughout the home and grounds Ÿ If your lucky, you may even get touched when you visit the cheese table
This is just to name a few experiences that I have personally witnessed within the home or that have been caught on film.
Reservations being accepted now for Private Investigations at the Eldred House
Facts about the Private Investigations:
· Cost is $400 per teams of ten or more. Groups over ten are required to Pay an additional $40 per person. Groups less than ten: $400 min. applies
· Group will have access to house and grounds, no guide directs or Accompanies any group. Some areas may be closed off due to safety Concerns.
· The IVCHA and the Bump in the Night tour co. reserves the right to not honor certain requests for investigations and also reserves the right to terminate the evening at any time if they feel any member of the visiting group are not abiding by the terms. No refunds will be given.
· All investigation members attending must sign a waiver of liability form Releasing the IVCHA , Bump in the Night tour co. and there agents from any and all reasonability’s suffered from any accident during the evening. The form must be signed BEFORE admittance inside the house.
· All investigation teams must ask for permission from the IVCHA and Bump in the Night tours before posting any pictures and/or video from There investigation on the internet, newspaper or any other media outlet.
· The IVCHA and Bump in the Night tours also reserve the Right to post any of the above evidence mentioned on there respected media outlets to promote the activity of the location. Any group found in violation of this rule will be subject to legal action in Civil court.
· The above price(s) listed on number one entitled the group to a six hour Investigation. Generally beginning at 8pm and everyone must have Equipment packed and off the grounds by 2am. The starting and finishing times are negotiable.
· Generally private investigations are held on Friday & Saturday evenings but, this too may be negotiable.
· Payment in full is required at time of reservation to hold Your date. Full payment must be given on ONE credit or debit Card. No checks are accepted. No refunds are giving to any group For any reason. Should the IVCHA and Bump in the Night cancel the Investigation due do damage to the house, refund will be given.
· Keep in mind; there are no electric or restroom facilities in the house. A generator can be rented at an additional charge, prior notice must be given.

Note to paranormal teams** There is no power in the home, however a generator is available for a small fee to power up your equipment. (The fee depends on gas prices at the time.) |
